THEIR TEARS WOULD DRAW TRAILS
LIKE RED BARGES ACROSS THE SKY

Possibilities that do not occur. The questioning of things that are not happening. SEAGULLS (Möwen), sketches a concrete and yet abstract picture of the devotion that it allows to one's own wishes, fears and longings to unfold across borders within an abstract space. It is about impulse control and therefore about the strength of one's own decision. The difference between irrational longings and desires burdened by recurring doubt and the final action with rational claim.

Collaborative work by Barbara Marie Hofmann (Poem), Alban Schelbert (Sound), and Samuel Weidmann (Animation). Projected at the "Kunstnacht Konstanz / Kreuzlingen", May 2023, onto the facade of the Turm zur Katz.
